“Adoption pending” means that the dog is with a family who has verbally committed to adopting the dog, but adoption papers have not been finalized. “In trial home” means that the dog is with a family who needs time to be sure that the dog is a good fit in their home before the adoption process is finalized. CalWEAR will accept inquiries on all dogs until such time that their adoptions are finalized.
