It is with incredible sadness that Lili’s family had to turn her over to CalWEAR.
Lili is from a local breeder who is not in a position to take her back. She has a known birthday of June 22, 2017, is microchipped, and current on her vaccinations.
According to her former family, “Lili plays great with other large dogs. We have two small dogs at home that do not like her so they don’t play. I stay in the room with them at all times when they are all together because my little ones don’t like her energy so they attack her and in return she has gone after them a couple of times. However, at the dog park, when little dogs come into the large dog enclosure, she isn’t fazed at all and doesn’t bother them. She absolutely loves the companionship of other dogs. Lili has always been around children and is great with them, although, her high energy (until she eventually calms down) startles them. Our greatest want for Lili is that she goes to a home where there is land or space to run and play and be with another dog her size. We want her to be able to live both inside and outside so she can be with her family as often as she wants to be. She has never slept outside a day in her life, and we would be devastated if she had to do so. We’d love to see her with someone who would love to take her to work with them if possible and be a part of their every day life. That was our plan for her, but life turned upside down for us and our focus is now on our son’s health. Our son who is ill loves Lili more than any animal we have ever had, and he is heartbroken as we are, but knows it’s what is best for her because neither he or my husband and I can provide her with all that she needs at this time in life.”
Please fill out an adoption questionnaire if you would like to consider adopting Lili!
