Brody (DOB October 22, 2010) has been in his current home for about a year. Per the owner, “even after countless hours of training, a multi dog household is not what he needs, and I believe it to be unfair to him for us to keep trying to push it on him.”
Brody lived with his previous family for 7 years. He is obedience trained, and e-collar trained. After living in a single dog home for 7 years, he hasn’t been able to adapt well to a multi-dog home, he doesn’t understand the other dogs social cues and has instigated fights.
Brody is not dog aggressive or dog reactive; he just doesn’t know how to interact properly. Per the owner, “I would label him as dog tolerant. With really no interest in taking part in any type dog interaction. I train dogs professionally and would like to see him go to a single dog household.”
Brody is good with people, kids and cats. His previous owners also just left him in the back yard with a tennis ball and because of this his teeth are worn down. He needs a home with someone experienced with the breed. Brody is current on vaccinations, on a flea and tick preventative and no health issues besides the teeth. He is also crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash, however he does mark if given the chance.
Please let us know if you’d be interested in meeting with Brody. You can also submit an application via www.CalWEAR.org. Thank you! ❤️
